About the Show: Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Gabriel Lefkowitz performs composer Philip Glass’ Violin Concerto No. 1 and Maestro Wardell finishes the OSO’s 41st concert season in a tour of great American music. Additional pieces include Gershwin’s Cuban Overture, Copland’s Four Dance Episodes from “Rodeo,” and A Tribute to Irving Berlin arranged by Healy.
