Guest Bartender benefiting volunteer lawyers project

Janet Behnke will be guest bartending again at La Cuisine as part of the Marion County Bar Association’s celebration of Law Week. Mark your calendars! Colleen Orender and the Jazz Jukebox will be in the house performing her wonderful vocal renditions. (If you are not familiar with this talented Nashville vocalist, be prepared to be well entertained).

All tips will benefit Community Legal Services Volunteer Lawyers Project, and a portion of the bar proceeds will also be donated. Janet once again will be mixing her own signature cocktail, “Solace,” a delectable combination of cucumber vodka, ginger liqueur and fresh lime juice. Her favorite Bourbon and Scotch whiskeys will also be available for pouring, in addition to the regular libations offered at La Cuisine.

Calendar the date and be sure to stop by. Stay for dinner if you like. Colleen will be performing until 9, or maybe even later (Reservations recommended). Bring friends! It will be fun, and it will benefit a worthy cause. Last year’s event raised almost $1,000.00 to support the Volunteer Lawyers Project. Let’s do even better this year!
