CEP Parade of Horses

The CEP Horse Parade, also known as the All-Breed Horse Capital Parade, is a unique celebration of Ocala’s identity as the “Horse Capital of the World.” Hosted by the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) Equine Initiative, this event showcases the incredible diversity of horse breeds within the community.

Scheduled for October 4, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. in downtown Ocala, the parade will feature a variety of horses, from miniature breeds to giant Clydesdales, walking the streets. The parade route typically includes the Downtown Square and Citizens’ Circle. Due to its nature as a “rolling road block,” spectators should be prepared for temporary traffic interruptions along the parade route as the procession moves through the city. This family-friendly event is a great way to experience Ocala’s rich equine heritage and see a wide range of beautiful horses up close.
