“A Love Story: Paintings by Ro Martinez” – Exhibit Opening

Join us for our February opening reception for “A Love Story”, featuring Op-Art abstract paintings inspired by LOVE by local artist, Ro Martinez.

Gallery will open to general public from 6-8pm during first Friday Art Walk.
“Art can influence the way we feel and has a positive effect on us. The mix of colors used is intended to be calming and make us smile. There is a message of love and healing behind my work and it’s my inspiration behind the Love Story Theme. As part of the theme I explore different types of love, from love of self to puppy love. Love has the power to heal and so necessary during these uncertain times.”
About the Artist: As a self taught Abstract and Op-Art artist Ro Martinez believes in creativity without restriction, she lives and works in Inverness, FL.
Ro’s creative journey began in 1980 with painting 3 murals in New York. She launched her professional art path in 2017 after a 34 year commercial acting and modeling career.The artist works with acrylics in her favorite black and white palette mixing a rainbow of colors inspired by her Colombian heritage to merge geometric patterns with abstraction.
